Hell should drop the same loot as Inferno
Post: 2012-07-12 14:29:44Inferno wasn't made for every under geared person can complete it easily. Inferno isn't even that hard if you had a handful of decent items. The normal person who can't or doesn't want to deal with inferno can run around hell all they want.
Inferno indeed isn't for everyone, since there is a large portion of the player base leaving because of it. The problem is that players are forced to farm inferno if they want to reliably farm top end gear. This contradicts the nature of Inferno as a challenge mode.
Hell should drop the same gear as Inferno. Then players would have a choice to farm Hell if they don't consider challenge modes entertaining.
I believe it should have at least a chance to drop anything so we don't get so sick of farming the same tiny acts in inferno.
Hell is too easy and inferno is too hard. Inferno is too hard for normal players, plain and simple.
Hell and Inferno should drop the same top-tier loot. Why? Because doing this would satisfy everyone.
Fun should matter more than difficulty, and fun is defined very differently by different people. Some people do indeed love a challenge, and those people should have that option and still be able to progress equally. Some people like to feel like a god and destroy hundreds of monsters at a time. Again, this should be rewarded in an equal measure, because the most important thing about a Diablo title is for people to have fun.
